WWE held a press event in Perth, Australia tonight ahead of the Elite Chamber live show on Saturday morning (February 24).
The Elimination Chamber card is sparse at the moment, with only four matches currently scheduled. With that in mind, WWE announced a new Elimination Chamber match during this press event. However, the match will take place on the kickoff show instead of the main card. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) will defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. Hartwell is from Australia, so this is especially exciting news for her.
The kickoff show begins one hour before the main card. I'm on the East Coast of the USA, so for me that means the pre-show will start at 4am ET, just a few hours after the Friday night episode of SmackDown finishes airing, with the main card set to start at 5am ET.
Are you planning to rearrange your sleep schedule further to accommodate the pre-show tag team title match at Elimination Chamber? Let us know in the comments below, and check out the updated Elimination Chamber lineup:
- Judicial Department: Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Raquel Rodriguez
