The USFL’s final week two game was highly anticipated, with the New Orleans Breakers and Tampa Bay Bandits being seen as the best teams in the league. However, the Breakers completely dominated the first half. Kyle Slaughter designed two engines to land on the first two New Orleans properties, while the bandits started with three straight duos.
All went well for the breakers in the first half, with TJ Logan efficient both on the ground and in the passing game, while Sean Poindexter and Jonathan Adams had some standout picks. The defense was also dominant.
