15 minutes: Perisic hits the post! Tottenham almost equalized from nothing. Kane crossed from the right towards Perisic, whose header hit the post with Alisson’s thrusting shot over his shoulder (I think) and veered to the post. Moments later he made a more comfortable save, this time from Hojbjerg’s low-25 yarder.
15 minutes “Nunes has a welcome card, but watch Mo,” says Rick McGee. “He takes the ball on one foot, puts it down and hits it with the other before it hits the ground on the first touch. What a composure and skill.”
14 minutes Alexander-Arnold hits a delicious ball at Salah on the edge of the area. He controls it well but then makes a pass behind Firmino. everything Liverpool.
13 minutes This is the twelfth time this season that Tottenham have conceded the first goal.
It started with Robertson, who runs the game from left-back. He fired a cross at Nunez, who grabbed it from the extension and squared it for Salah, 12 yards out. He stunned the ball yards off the ground and rolled it to fire a ball from Loris. This is an excellent goal.
Goal! Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool (Salah 11)
He was coming.
11 minutes Give me a second, I just need to do Wordle.
10 minutes Spurs barely had the ball in the first ten minutes. If you show Antonio Conte 0-0 an hour later, when he’s able to bring in Mora and Kulusevsky, he’ll gratefully accept you.
8 minutes “Although I love Liverpool (Elliott and Carvalho, nach), says Richard Hurst, “I would absolutely like Tottenham to win just because Fulham have edged Liverpool so far in the season. (And Tottenham have Sessegnon.”)
6 minutes Whatever his flaws, Darwin Nunez is irrepressible. He receives a superb cross from Alexander Arnold, runs across the area line and runs just a few meters off the far post.
I know it’s rude and there’s an abundance of bantz, but Nunez’s attitude is pretty cool. It reminds me a bit, for rich and poor, of Timo Werner at Chelsea.
5 minutes The Two Faces of Darwin Nunez. He makes a purposeful run to the left to receive a long pass from Robertson. Then he moves into the area and irritates Dyer…and takes the ball out of play.
4 minutes Perisic plays directly in the offensive line for Tottenham, along with Harry Kane. The Liverpool formation is very smooth, although I think it is basically a diamond midfield with Nunez and Salah as separate strikers.
3 minutes: Good save from Loris! Life is never boring when Darwin Nunez is around. Heading into the area from the left, on a superb curved pass from Robertson, he runs around the rebounding ball and hits a shot from a tight angle that Lloris thrust away spectacularly. It was a comfortable enough save for a goalkeeper of his quality, but it was a really good effort from Nunez.
2 minutes “I’ve been excited about Tottenham for a long time, but I’m still not sure if I like Conte or get frustrated with him,” says Jeff. “Maybe both. “Am I right in thinking that he formed Spurs 6-3-1, potentially giving Alexander-Arnold and Robertson a lot of respect?”
Not quite – it’s 5-3-2 (or 3-5-2 if you prefer). He doesn’t have a lot of options because Son, Richarlison, Kulusevski and Moura are either injured or unable to play for 90 minutes.
1 minute Peep peep! Liverpoolspecifically Harvey Elliott, sprint from left to right as we watch.
Well, here are the players. let’s go.
West Ham 1-2 Crystal Palace
John Bruyne was at the London Stadium to watch Crystal Palace win away from home.
Liverpool beat Man City, and hit the Napoli team flying this season,” says Matt Doni. “And they lost to Forrest and Leeds. This kind of inconsistency is clearly frustrating, but doubly worrisome when faced with an unstable team. Spurs can be awesome, and they can be awful. (But absolutely not for entertainment, Amiri, Antonio?) Liverpool You have. Who knows more! “
Southampton 1-4 Newcastle
Sam Dalling was at St Mary’s to see Newcastle sympathize with Southampton. Here is his report.
“Newcastle took an empathic win, right?” Peter Dawes says: “An arm around the shoulder is kind of a thing? We understand what you feel, we often feel the same way we do.”
It’s my favorite typo since I criticized a cricketer for playing a useless cut-off in 2010.
Aston Villa 3-1 Manchester United
Ben Fisher was at Villa Park to watch Unai Emery take off on a flight.
Four attackersYash Gupta says: “Mura is feeling the pain too. Still a good squad to win and Jill on the bench to create chaos. Hopefully, both teams will make this a wild game like last season, starting with an own goal by both teams making defense an afterthought.”
If this ends 0-0, I’ll eat cliched.
There were three matches at 2 p.m.And this is how they ended up.
We will have full match reports soon. Newcastle’s sympathetic win saw them move above Spurs to third, although Spurs would overtake them if they win.
Harvey Elliott got some rest in the middle of the week But today he’s back, living life to the max.
The fifth core style

Preamble
Hello and welcome to live coverage of Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool from where this bloody sponsor is you have three years now if this is not the ASK JEEVES stadium by the end of next week I will stick my chest upright on the bottom line stadium. The good news for Antonio Conte and Jurgen Klopp is that only one team can concede the first goal. Both have specialized in losing 1-0 this season: Tottenham 11 times, Liverpool 10. They’ve recovered to win a few of them (Tottenham 5, Liverpool 2), but it’s not a sustainable or desirable business model.
Spurs struggled in October, with three league defeats and growing criticism of Antonio Conte’s favorite cutting styles, but they are still in contention for all the major trophies. Be careful what you wish for and all of that: this time last year, Spurs finished 10th in the league and play in the Europa League.
Liverpool went in the opposite direction, from chasing the quadruple to hoping to finish in the top four. They have yet to win away from home in the league this season, which is a hardly believable statistic, approaching 20th place from fourth.
A team that was once ruthlessly consistent has become highly unpredictable – capable of winning 9-0, 7-1 but also losing to the bottom team in consecutive games. For those of us who are neutrals, this makes this game even more exciting.
Starting 4.30 pm.
