Memorizes $900 in Canon camera deal Black Friday. The camera (rated as the best Canon camera in our Best Cameras guide) was marked down by $500 for Prime Day and the deal ran throughout the rest of the year, but now they’ve discounted another $400, offering its lowest price yet.
to overtake Canon EOS R5 is $900 off on Amazon In this Black Friday camera deal.
Editor’s Note November 24: We posted this deal earlier in the week at $500 off, but now it’s even further marked down to a whopping $900 off! This is the lowest price we’ve seen, and it seems like every retailer has followed suit and is now selling it for a lower price of $2,999.
We gave it four and a half out of five stars in our full Canon EOS R5 review because it has 8K video recording, takes detailed 45-megapixel still images and has great handling and ergonomics.
It’s now significantly cheaper than its closest competitor, the Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera, which also tops our best cameras buying guide, but since the R5 has a $900 discount, we think many photographers and videographers who need to save their budget may find the EOS R5 is a The best choice now.
Whether you need to capture the lunar surface using a telephoto lens and crop detailed 45MP shots for full-frame views, or you need to record HD video, the Canon EOS R5 is capable of shooting up to 8K and 30p/4K 120p footage /1080p and 60p making it a truly excellent full-frame mirrorless hybrid camera.
We found that the 5-axis in-body image stabilization smooths out images even when shooting handheld during low light. With a wide ISO sensitivity range of 100-51,200 (expandable to 50-102,400), it can shoot in the dark too.
The Canon EOS R5 comes with a neck strap, battery, battery charger and manuals, and is ready to receive additional accessories such as CF and SD memory cards and other camera accessories.
When we were shooting it for the full review, we were blown away by the impressive autofocus system. When combined with its image stabilizer, it’s one of the fastest systems we’ve used. The tracking is probably the best in its class, with accurate face, eye and head detection as well. The In-body Image Stabilization (IS) system can also be combined with a Canon IS lens for up to 8 stops of stabilization so you can shoot well into twilight and beyond without having to use a tripod.

Main specifications: Using the new Digic It captures up to 8K 30p video footage that can be accessed with the click of a button. It also records 4K 120p for slow motion capture and 1080p 60p for standard HD recordings. The expandable ISO range of up to 102,400 is impressive, especially for astrophotography.
consensus: It is currently one of the best cameras you can buy, and perhaps Canon’s best technical achievement ever. Great yet premium package.
Buy if: You want professional-quality photos and video but don’t want to buy a cinema-level system or need something smaller and smarter to shoot with.
Do not buy if: If you’re looking for an entry-level vlogging kit or are on a budget, while this $500 discount represents great value, this camera may still be out of your price range.
Alternative models: For those with smaller budgets, we recommend the Nikon Z7 II, which is also one of our best cameras. Or if the Canon or Nikon systems aren’t for you, try the Sony A7R V, which we found during our review to be one of the best Sony cameras ever made.
