The Packers list eight questionable for Sunday night

GREEN BAY — The Packers list eight players as questionable for Sunday night’s matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Those eight are receivers Jayden Reed (chest) and Dontaevion Weeks (knee), cornerbacks Jair Alexander (shoulder) and Robert Rochell (calf), linebacker DeVondre Campbell (neck), tight end Josiah Deguara (hip), and safety Rudy Ford. (biceps/groin) and Darnell Savage (calf).

Running back Aaron Jones (knee) has been ruled out, while cornerback Eric Stokes (hamstring) is questionable.

Reid returned to practice on Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday with a chest injury. The rookie second-round pick leads the Packers with 497 receiving yards this season.

Alexander missed six of Green Bay’s 11 games with back and shoulder injuries. His final appearance came in Green Bay’s 20-3 win over the Los Angeles Rams on November 5.

“We’ll see how he worked out today and where he’ll be on Sunday,” Alexander coach Matt LaFleur said. “Of course, you always want a guy of his caliber on the field. It makes you a better football team.”

Savage and Stokes are scheduled to return to injured reserve and will need to be activated to play against the Chiefs. Green Bay currently has two spots open on its 53-man roster.

The Packers have not released game status for the following players expected to play: running back AJ Dillon (groin), defensive lineman Kenny Clarke (shoulder), linebacker Rashaan Gary (shoulder), cornerback Kesian Nixon (wrist), and defensive lineman Devonte White (heel).

Kansas City has not released playing status for the following players expected to be available: Safety Brian Cook (bicep), receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle/hip), receiver Rushie Rice (foot), tackle Donovan Smith (neck), cornerback L. ‘Jarius Sneed (knee) and receiver Skyy Moore (knee).
