If you’ve been looking forward to the official drum controller for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! But backed off by the exorbitant price, look again. Now it is for sale at the lowest price ever.
Official Taiko no Tatsujin for Switch
Right now, you can pick up an officially licensed Hori Taiko no Tatsujin roller controller from the Bandai Namco store for just $62.99, which is a 10% drop in price from the original $70 MSRP version. This drum set I never stock at Bandai Namco, and usually the only way to get it is via third party sellers like Amazon. They are usually more expensive, around $80-$100. Note that The game is not included With a drum kit, so choose what’s heavily discounted Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Festival Game Over at Amazon at the same time.
Taiko no Tatsujin is a very fun and challenging drum percussion game for Nintendo Switch. Taiko no Tatsujin may not be bad in the States, but the franchise has been a huge hit and popular in Japan. There, it’s common in galleries where you’ll often see maestros performing supersets on the highest difficulty levels. The Nintendo Switch mimics this game in everything but its controls. Whereas in the arcade version you’re hitting the drumsticks, in the Switch version you’re relegated to using button controls or the touchscreen interface. This official drum kit from Hori is as close to the arcade version as you’ll get. It’s responsive and durable, and will make Taiko no Tatsujin feel like a whole new (and better) game.
