The Nintendo 64 library on Switch Online is getting another game this week

Nintendo announced that the Switch Online’s Nintendo 64 library is swelling this week with the addition of Mario Party 3 on October 26.

Mario Party 3 first launched on the Nintendo 64 in 2000 in Japan, before heading west a year later. The minigame set adds Waluigi and Daisy, and includes the series’ first story mode. There are six game boards and over 70 mini-games included.

After appearing in Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64 system (also playable with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership + Expansion Pack), Waluigi joins the Mario Party 3 cast of characters with his own wild spirit and a chaotic board of his own – Waluigi’s Island – full of tricky traps and cunning contraptions. The cheerful Daisy also makes her first appearance in the Mario Party series as a playable character, bringing her inimitable charm to the competition.

And of course, what’s Mario Party without multiplayer mini-games? This release is positively overflowing with over 70 lively entertainment to enjoy. Hop over the clock in Tick Tock Hop, bring your appetite and race to see who can eat a pizza first, swing from vine to vine in Vine With Me, run circles in Eye Sore from Super Mario 64, and laugh yourself silly while mixing and matching Frog Face in Imperfect photo or try to emerge victorious on top of a gorgeous snow globe.

Mario Party 3 will be available to everyone with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, including online.

In September of last year, Nintendo announced a wave of Nintendo 64 games coming to Nintendo Switch Online. Of the games in that wave, 1080° Snowboarding has yet to be released.
