The Ploudalmézeau-Cullompton duo group held one of its weekly English classes this Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at La Clé des Champs in Ploudalmézeau. About ten participants attended, along with Anne Marie Le Jolliffe, host, and Roger Appare and Yvonne Ferce, president and vice president of the association, respectively.
“We offer four one-and-a-half-hour classes each week, open to everyone, with about ten participants per class,” explains Yvonne Fers. “Lessons are held in exchange format. I spread grammar through games and bring a playful side to learning. Forty people are registered,” underlines Anne-Marie Le Jolliffe.
A twin in trouble
“As for the twins, the health crisis has put a serious damper on our regular exchanges with Cullumpton, and the English have informed us of the difficulties of membership across the Channel. We are going to meet and partake with them at Easter and want to continue, why not in another town. The annual fish and chips will be held in December.” As Roger Appare and Yvonne Ferse note.
