19 5th and 3rd grade students took part in the English-language Big Challenge, which for its 25th edition attracted more than 500,000 applicants, mainly in France, but also in 8 other European countries. On May 14, at the Saint-Christophe campus, these 19 middle school students answered a questionnaire aimed at assessing their language skills in English, but also their knowledge of Anglo-Saxon culture.
A month later, the results were announced to them, and they were pleasantly surprised to learn that among them was Marcos de la Vega Carrasca, the department winner for Level 3 from Class 3 Ani. He was ranked 184th nationally out of more than 16,000 participants in his category. Her runner-up in Gers is Mia Lagarde, from the 3rd Osa in the Massoub complex. At 5th level, Hugo Davies ranked 3rd in the department.
At the graduation ceremony, these three winners were awarded with The Big Challenge Regional Cup, Bluetooth Speaker, 2024 T-shirt and “Or-First class National Honours” diploma.
These results are a success and satisfaction for all students and the academic community of the La Salle Saint-Christophe campus, and everyone hopes for equally good results for the 2025 edition.
