Roy’s family is back and it seems as dysfunctional and murderous as ever. a New teaser trailer to SuccessionThe hit show from British creator Jesse Armstrong, suggests that the billionaire media royal family’s hardships and ruthless power struggles will continue in the fourth season, which HBO announced will return in March.
The trailer finds Roy’s siblings – ineffective presidential candidate Connor (Alan Ruck), former golden boy Kendall (Jeremy Strong), boy Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Foxy’s daughter Chief (Sarah Snook) – in turmoil after their failed coup in The third season finale and their father’s proposed sale of the company to tech tycoon Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård).
According to the official record, the prospect of such a deal “ignites existential anxiety and family division among royals as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete,” especially as some members of the Roy family contemplate a future “in which their cultural and political weight is severely diminished.”

Armstrong also remained silent in Season 4, but he did reveal Reporters after the show won an Emmy Award in September stated that the fourth season was an “outside shootout.”
“I guess I could tell you everything that’s going to happen,” he said, “but it’ll only make it worse when you watch it.”
Succession’s first three seasons garnered 48 Emmy nominations and 13 wins, including two for Outstanding Dramatic Series, among many other accolades.
It will return to HBO March 26 with a UK date confirmed.
