Selena Gomez and Francia Raisa seem to have worked things out after previously shadowing each other online.
In an interview on Apple TV+’s “Dear…” show, the founder of The Rare Beauty paid tribute to Raisa for donating her kidney in 2017 amid the singer’s battle with lupus.
“My best friend. Her name is Francia. After learning she needed a transplant, she said, ‘No, I’m absolutely going to test,'” Gomez said.
Within three days, I was gone [get tested], and it matched. And it was one of those moments when I felt watched. I know I was very lucky,”
She continued, “I would never be more indebted to someone than Francia. The idea of someone not even guessing they were a donor was incredibly overwhelming.”
While the couple appears to be on good terms now, they got into a fight back in November after Gomez called out Taylor Swift for her “The only friend in the industry.”
The comment didn’t sit well with the “How I Met Your Father” star, who wrote “fun” under an Instagram post highlighting Gomez’s quote.
The singer later clapped back at her friend, writing, “Sorry I didn’t mention everyone I know” in a TikTok video explaining the rumored feud.
The beef ripped fans, with some arguing that Gomez’s comments were taken out of context while others shy away from “Who says?” singer for insulting the person who saved her life.
“I honestly feel like this whole thing was completely overdone and that Selena was so mean to the music industry that Francia is not a part of,” one follower wrote.

“Maybe she wasn’t really Francia as an ‘industrial girlfriend’ but more as a sister, that was my first thought!” Another commented.
While a third argued, “Francia saved her life! She should have at least acknowledged it in the documentary!!!!!”
The ladies have had a very on and off friendship over the past two years.
After the release of Gomez’s 2022 documentary “My Mind and Me,” fans noticed Raisa unfollowed the “Only Murders in the Building” actress on Instagram after she was left nameless in the movie.
The move came as a shock to fans due to the fact that Raisa attended Gomez’s 30th birthday party just a few months earlier.
