In a Twitter post, the official Japanese Sega account announced an upcoming broadcast on Friday, June 3 at 12PM GMT/7AM ET, which looks set to unveil a brand new project.
Details are a bit thin on the ground at the moment, but guests include Hiroyuki Miyazaki, who has a long history with the company, along with Yosuke Okunari, who once again boasts a wide range of credits with SEGA.
The tweet was translated as follows:
\ Urgent notice! /
The live broadcast of the announcement of the new Sega project will be delivered from 20:00 on June 3 (Friday)
The appearance [Hiroyuki Miyazaki] [Yosuke Okunari] …… does this mean…?
The accompanying photo of the somewhat chocolate-looking Mega Drive console indicates that the stream will likely contain information about a retro-focused project. Maybe a mega cd mini? We realize we don’t get our hopes up too much with this one, but who knows what will be announced!
Are you going to watch the broadcast on June 3rd? What do you think it will reveal? Please let us know with a comment!
