Michael Polnareff signs his “best earnings” on stage, even though he denies the word. The singer’s last tour ended abruptly in 2016 after suffering a double pulmonary embolism. Almost seven years later, this Wednesday, May 24, he embarks on a new tour, starting at the Palais Nice in Nice, and he seems to be in great shape.

“No big incomes, no small incomes. I never felt like I was really coming back, I felt constant levels. I feel the urge to speak to the public again”, says Michel Polnareff, guest of RTL. . His first concert in Nice begins with a song Hi, I’m back. “There must have been an invitation to the tour Hi, I’m back“, he admits.

For the first time in his career, Michael Polnareff will be on a 360° stage. “There, there’s a central scene, I’ve never done it. I’m going to see if I have an idea like turning in the microwave”, he laughs, “I usually have them at 180 ° and we double it. Bet”.

Another novelty for the singer, the concert will begin with the first part of his presence Alone at the piano. A dream for his fans. “It’s something I’ve never done, so I can’t explain how I’m going to feel. I have to face it, but I can’t wait.”

As usual, Michael Polnareff delved into his repertoire to prepare for his tour, even if the set list is not final. At almost 80, he doesn’t want to stop there and always wants to do something new. “I am rediscovering English school. It really wants to do new things and why not in English. That way, we open up the world a little bit.”
