An online leaker has claimed that Red Dead Redemption 3 is “officially in the works.” This could be because Grand Theft Auto 6 is nearing the end of its development cycle and preparing for its imminent announcement and subsequent release, and as a result, Rockstar is keeping its focus on Red Dead Redemption 3, which is likely to be another six or six games. Seven years after his release.
Red Dead Redemption 3 – 2030?
This infusion comes as a courtesy @MyTimeToShineH on Twitter, who also recently posted a claim that a Hogwarts Legacy sequel is in development – which we reported on here. Admittedly, MyTimeToShineH is more than just a movie-focused leaker, specializing in Marvel and DC, and since these leaks are not confirmed yet, we await the build-out of a video game-focused track record for one.
Regardless, it seems pretty clear that Rockstar will be working on Red Dead Redemption 3 to some degree – we can’t ever say what that game will look like. There are suggestions circulating online leaning towards Red Dead Redemption 3 being a prequel to the prequel and being made before The events of the game Red Dead Redemption 2.
In this case, the film would show the Van der Linde gang in their early years – if it really focused on these characters at all. It would be appropriate for the game to follow the events in Blackwater that saw the gang disperse at the beginning of Red Dead Redemption 2, as it did at the end of Red Dead Redemption 2. that The game eventually led to the opening of 2010’s Red Dead Redemption.
what do you think? Are you excited about the prospect of Red Dead Redemption 3, or are you just waiting for GTA 6?
