Surprisingly, well, by and large everyoneNintendo announced the Everybody 1-2-Switch! , the sequel to Switch’s launch party title, 1-2 Switch!.

Everyone is 1-2-Switch! It takes the overall concept of the first game and orders everything top notch, allowing players to participate using both Joy-Con controllers and their smart devices. It looks interesting and we can’t wait to find out more.

In the meantime, however, something unusual caught our eye regarding the game’s regional key art. As you can see, in Japan and North America the game shows a rather playful horse in the center of the image, holding a Joy-Con in one hand and a smartphone in the other.

It plays a prominent role in the overall composition of the picture, drawing the viewer’s eye to the center. In comparison, however, Nintendo of Europe took a slightly different approach, taking an alternate image of a horse and downsizing it so it’s essentially smaller than the people around it.

You could argue that the horse in the European version forms part of the logo itself, but we can’t help but laugh at the size difference between the two. Do we think someone at Nintendo of Europe might have been a little embarrassed by the size of the horse in other core art? maybe. We may never know.

Regardless, it might be for the fun of Box Art Brawl someday!

What do you think of the regional differences between the core art of Everyone 1-2-Switch!? Does that even matter? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
