Adams addressed the man splash, who appeared to be a photographer or side handler on the field, in his media presence with reporters.
“It was just frustration mixed in with him literally running in front of me,” Adams told reporters after the game. “I shouldn’t have responded that way.”

He added another apology in a tweet.
“Sorry for the guy I pressed on after the match. He’s obviously very frustrated with the way the match ended and when he ran in front of me when I walked out that was my reaction and I immediately freaked out. That’s not me.. apologetic guy hoping you see this,” he wrote.
But for a 1-4 team, the Conquerors couldn’t lose him.
