Authorities have arrested a Florida man who they said threatened to carry out a “mass casualty attack” at an event in Texas to launch Tesla’s new Cybertruck pickup trucks.
Paul Ryan Overeem, 28, of Orlando, said in an Instagram group chat that he planned to kill people at a public event on Thursday, police said. San Antonio Express News. He was arrested on Wednesday in Travis County, where Tesla’s factory is located outside Austin, a day before the event.
