The playlist has been updated with a fresh look, simplified layout and organization, and quality of life changes.
Competitive card
- Combine Competitive Playlists and Extra Mode Playlists into one new Competitive Pass
- You can now wait for all six competitive playlists at once
- Starting in Season 13, Competitive Mode will alternate between Snow Day and Dropshot each season.

Regular card
- Two new Arcade Playlists have been added that will rotate through additional modes such as Heatseeker, Spike Rush, Rocket Labs, and more.
- Dropshot and Snow Day will be available in these playlists when not part of the competitive playlist
- 4v4 chaos has been replaced with a new Big Party playlist
- The big party will alternate between knockouts and 4v4 mayhem
Play card offline
- A new Play Offline Pass has been added containing Show Mode, Season Mode, and Workshop Maps
Special match card
- A new “Private Match” card containing options for private matches and LAN matches has replaced the “Custom Games” card.
Other changes to the playlist
- You can join an existing private match directly from training or from an offline match
- Load and launch a different workshop map when you are already in the workshop map
- When you’re in a party, you can now see your rank even when you’re not the party leader
- Reorder the arena list so that standard arenas are listed alphabetically, followed by non-standard arenas listed alphabetically

Cross-game items
- A new Cross-Game item theme has been added to Rocket League
- Added Cross-Game to the theme filter
- These Fortnite items will appear in your locker if you’re playing Fortnite using the same Epic Games account
- When displayed in the Garage, items across games will have a note below the item name and a rarity that says “This item will also appear in Fortnite”
- Cross-Game items from Fortnite will start appearing in your Rocket League Garage

Trade in jobs
To account for cross-gaming ownership, the Trade In system has undergone some changes in its functionality. These changes will not affect non-shared game items.
- Only duplicate Cross-Game items will appear in the Trade In list until there is only one instance of the duplicate item left in your inventory
- Here are the rules that determine duplicate trade eligibility:
- Coated items are not counted as duplicates along with uncoated items
- Player owns one (1) unpainted tornado and one (1) black painted tornado. No item will appear in the Trade In list
- The same item with the same painted theme is considered a duplicate
- The player has (2) Black Tornadoes. One (1) Black Cyclone will appear in your Trade In list
- The same item with different painted features is not considered a duplicate
- Player has one (1) Lemon Tornado and one (1) Black Tornado. No item will appear in the Trade In list
- Approved items are counted as duplicate items along with unapproved items
- The player has one (1) approved tornado and one (1) unapproved tornado. The unapproved item will appear in the exchange list
- The same item with different certificates is considered a duplicate
- Player owns one (1) Acrobat Cyclone and one (1) Aviator Cyclone. The duplicate item with lower stats will appear in the trading menu
- Coated items are not counted as duplicates along with uncoated items
Inventory Management
- Archived items will now appear in the Trade In list
- Favorite items will no longer appear in the Trade In list
- If an item is marked as a favorite and is archived, the game will respect its favorite status and the item will not appear in the trade-in list

- Fixed appearance of the Kingtress sticker (Octane)
