The Green Bay Packers signed the WR Beau Milton From the practice squad to the active roster, S.J Tyler Cowell To the practice squad and WR status Samori Touré (suh-MORE-ee Too-ray) is on injured reserve. The transactions were announced Monday by Managing Director Brian Gutekunst.
Milton, a first-year player who was originally selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round (229th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Rutgers, was signed by Green Bay off the Seahawks' practice squad late last season. He spent this season on the Packers' practice squad and active roster, appearing in four games with one start and recording 11 receptions for 156 yards (14.2 avg.) and a TD as well as one rush for 7 yards. Milton appeared in 56 games with 42 starts in five seasons at Rutgers (2017-21), finishing his career ranked No. 3 in school history in games played, No. 6 in receptions (164), and tied for eighth in 100-yards. Receiving games (five) and No. 10 in receiving yards (2,011).
Coyle (6-1, 209), a first-year player, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue by the Dallas Cowboys on May 14, 2021. He spent the past two seasons on the Cowboys practice squad and active duty. roster, appeared in three games and recorded six tackles (all solo) on defense and three tackles on special teams. Coyle was released by Dallas after 2023 training camp. He spent four years at the University of Connecticut (2016-19) before playing the 2020 season with Purdue. Coyle will wear No. 24 for the Packers.
