Nick Cannon, who has fathered 12 children with six different women, says he has a system for determining which partner he stays with.

“Not often any of them called me that day, to be honest,” Cannon said. Los Angeles Times. “I am such a creature of habit. I love those like me.”

Cannon also said that he sometimes plots the road to deliver his several children with different women and stays with the woman whose home he finally gets to.

Cannon has homes in New Jersey and Temecula and will soon have a place in Joshua Tree, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The TV host also told the Los Angeles Times that since he has so many kids, he made room in his office for a nursery complete with a ball pit and several toys. As for why he has so many children, he said that he makes people happy and wants to give the women in his life the children they want.

“A lot of them are in the same age group,” Cannon said of his romantic partners. And I just wanted to give them what they wanted. I kept saying, ‘I can handle it.'”

Cannon has children with pop legend Mariah Carey and DJ Abby De La Rosa and four models: Alyssa Scott, Brittany Bell, Bree Tessie and Laneisha Cole.

In March, Cannon said that He wished he had a child with his ex-girlfriend and former co-star Christina Milian. In April, Cannon said it would be “cool” to have a baby with Taylor Swift after hearing she was single again.

And the show’s host may not be done yet: In February, he said he’d let God decide when he should stop having kids.

Cannon representatives did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment, which was sent outside of normal business hours.
