“Do You Talk Basketball” at Jean Moulin College: A wonderful afternoon of discussion and play.
This Thursday, April 11, two classes from Jean Moulin College supported the Charne Girls Basketball Club as part of the “Are You Talking Basketball” program, supported by the department.
The Charnay women's team plays at the highest level of the French basketball championship.
The aim of the move is to allow students to attend a championship match and then host a club with English-speaking players for an afternoon.
The afternoon took place under the supervision of two players of the club and their physical trainer with a moment of training in two levels, then a moment of exchange with questions prepared by the students and their English teachers (exchanges are made mainly in English. The program indicates).
The students enjoyed their moment of basketball and their exchanges with the players, which allowed them to get to know and better understand the world of elite women's basketball.
Adorned with their chasubles and players' autographs provided by the department, the students left with fond memories of these sporting and English-speaking moments!
The entire Jean Moulin College team that participated in this program would like to thank once again the department and Charne Club for contributing to the success of this sports and cultural afternoon!
