Mercato, an English crack as expected in OL

The summer transfer window continues in full swing in France since it opened on June 10. Away from Germany and Euro 2024, French clubs are devoting their summer to training their new squads for next season. Such is the case with Olympique Lyonnais. The Rhone club has been more or less successful and should welcome an English paceman in its squad in the coming days.

OL’s unique transfer window

OL started their transfer window at the tip. That’s normal, especially since the Rhone club don’t have enough resources to hit the transfer market this summer. But Lyon have the European Cup to play for next season and are therefore forced to strengthen in key positions.
