Julio Rodriguez was named Rookie of the Year Monday after a surprising drive that saw him exceed massive expectations that followed him to the Seattle Mariners.

Atlanta Braves Outfielder Michael Harris won his third in the NL.

Rodriguez was called up by Seattle after spring training ended. The 21-year-old outfielder was one of the best prospects in baseball. It had an immediate effect though Again and again falling on the wrong end of the poor referee.

Harris wins the Premier League title

Harris won the NL after planting himself in the Braves lineup as an early-season call-up. Much like Rodriguez, Harris has established himself as a multi-talented player on the playoff team who contributes to the plate and on base tracks.

The Braves recalled Harris from Double-A in May as they dealt with early season injuries including star player Ronald Acuna Jr. He never gave up his place on the MLB roster or in the lineup.

Harris started 114 games for Atlanta, slashing .297/.339/.514 with 19 home runs, 64 RBI and 20 stolen bases. He received 22 of 30 first-place votes, defeating teammate Spencer Stryder, who posted a 2.67 ERA and 11 wins in 20 starts for the Braves.
