An English businessman took charge Manoir Industries, a metal parts factory in petrochemical, defense and nuclear sectors. The Paris Commercial Court issued its ruling on Thursday, June 20. Therefore, a deal has been sealed with the Peralloy group to take over the factory located in Bitres, Ure, south of Rouen.

The 440 site workers have been rescued And the new partner plans to hire 50 new employees. Peraloi is the only candidate to have bought Pitres Foundry. Since 2007, the company has been making losses. After 2021, a new corporate rescue plan was put in place from May 2023. Since then, turnover has increased from a peak of 60 million euros to 84 million euros last year.

The partner initially paid six million euros. Local stakeholders also participated in this rescue operation. The region contributes 3.5 million euros, with EDF and the government paying 10.5 million euros between them.
