XSEED Games has released the first English gameplay trailer for the upcoming ‘coming-of-age’ adventure RPG. Loop8: Summer of the Gods.

About

Loop8: Summer of the Gods A narrative, time-traveling RPG using an emotion-based artificial intelligence system, where players’ decisions and interactions with other characters affect their emotions and the unfolding of their stories. These interactions can also affect allies’ performance during battle, creating a unique experience for players as their decisions can change the outcome of battle. With the power of time travel, players can correct mistakes or chart a new course to explore the endless possibilities of August.

Coming of age adventure, Loop8: Summer of the Gods Follows heroine Nini and her classmates as they try to defeat the Kekai, demonic entities that have pushed humanity to the brink of destruction. Raised on a broken space station called “Hope”, Nini returns to Earth to spend her summers in Ashihara, one of humanity’s last sanctuaries. Nini, who has “ghost vision”, can use her special connection with the gods to reset the world, each ring allowing her and her allies to resurrect the 8th month over and over again until they succeed… or Kekai overwhelms them entirely.

Loop8: Summer of the Gods Launched on March 16, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Japan. Finally, a global and PC release is planned for Spring 2023.
