The diagram above shows a similar console design to the current PS5 Slim, with white, two USB-C ports, and a power button on the front. But there are three black lines in the middle of the PS5 Pro’s outer shell that aren’t present on the base models. Bill Conn noted that the PS5 Pro appears to be slightly thicker than the PS5 Slim.

The PS5 Pro seen by billbill-kun does not include a disc drive. What is unclear is whether Sony is also planning to release a disc-drive version of the console. No price has been mentioned. The controller remains the base DualSense.

Instead, this is a list of games that IGN’s PlayStation gamers recommend as a group, ranked using our Face-Off tool so everyone can have an equal say on which games they think should be ranked above the rest. It’s presented in the spirit of acknowledging the games we love, and encouraging others to try them if you haven’t already.

With only 25 spots to fill, there are plenty of amazing modern games that didn’t make it to the top – but that doesn’t mean we don’t think they’re great too! Everyone who voted had plenty of personal favourites that just didn’t gain enough traction with the group to make it, which is inevitable when there are so many games and so many different perspectives.

Keep in mind that while the PS5 is a powerhouse that can run any PlayStation 4-compatible game, for the sake of clarity and sanity, we’ve narrowed our criteria for this compilation list to focus on games that have PlayStation 5-specific versions. So while we still love games like Doom 2016, God of War, Minecraft, Red Dead Redemption 2, and many more, until they’re updated, they’ll be sidelined on the PS4 list — and of course, many of them will have a place on our list of the 100 best games of all time.

Most importantly, remember that this list is just our group’s opinion and is no more “right” or “wrong” than a list you create yourself. Speaking of which: if you have your own ranking that you’d like to share with the world, we’d like to invite you to create a list of your top 25 (or top 100!) PlayStation games using our playlist tool and share it in the comments.

The PS5 Pro has been rumored for some time, with reports suggesting a November release. In March, alleged PS5 Pro specs leaked online, and IGN understands that the specs are legitimate. The main improvements relate to the CPU, which is said to be identical to the standard PS5 CPU but with a “high CPU frequency mode.” This is said to equate to a 10% boost to 3.85GHz. The GPU, on the other hand, is said to enable faster rendering and higher-quality ray tracing, powered by 33.5 teraflops. The standard PS5 offers 10.28 teraflops. However, a direct comparison between the PS5 and PS5 Pro would be around 10.28 versus 16-17 teraflops.

Particularly interesting is that the PS5 Pro has an upscaling/smoothing solution called PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution Upscaling), a custom machine learning architecture, and an AI accelerator. Elsewhere, the PS5 Pro has a detachable disc drive and 1TB of storage.

This “boosted” update is said to be designed to boost interest in the PS5 ahead of its release. Grand Theft Auto 6 In 2025. As IGN reported, There are a lot of things waiting for GTA 6.And not just for Rockstar and Take-Two.
