The Princess of Wales has issued a poignant statement about her ongoing battle with cancer and announced she will attend Trooping the Color tomorrow.
Kate, 42, revealed she has good days and bad days as she undergoes “preventive chemotherapy” for an unknown form of the disease.
She said she has been “blown away” by the good wishes she and her family have received since she announced her diagnosis in an emotional video in March.
Admitting that she was “not out of the woods yet,” the princess said she would return to her light duties and helping her three children with their schoolwork when she felt well enough.
The Princess said she was looking forward to King Charles’s official Christmas parade, which will be her first public appearance since Christmas Day last year.
A spokesman for the House of Representatives in Buckingham said King Charles was “delighted” that his daughter-in-law would join the family at Saturday’s events.
It is believed that the Princess will appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the King’s Birthday Parade, which will conclude the event.

King Charles “delighted”
King Charles expressed his delight at the news of Kate Middleton’s return to her public duties at the Trooping the Colour parade.

It read: “I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the past two months. It has made a huge difference to William and me and has helped us get through some tough times.
“I’m making good progress, but as anyone who’s been through chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak and tired and you have to give in to your body’s comfort. But on the good days, when you’re feeling strong, you want to make the most of feeling good.” .
“My treatment is ongoing and will continue for a few more months. On days when I feel well enough, I have the pleasure of engaging in school life, spending personal time on things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do some work from home.
“I’m looking forward to attending the King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and I hope to take part in some public engagements over the summer, but equally I know I’m not out of the woods yet.

Cost of color troops
