Israel releases 80 mutilated bodies with stolen organs for burial in Gaza

The Gaza government media office said that Israel handed over the mutilated bodies of 80 martyrs after removing their organs.

The media office said in a statement issued today, Tuesday, that the bodies were unidentified, and that the occupation regime refused to specify the names of the victims or the places where they were kidnapped.

She added that the occupation forces had previously exhumed graves in the city of Jabalia, north of Gaza, and stole some of the bodies of Palestinian martyrs.

It also called for “the formation of a completely independent international investigation committee into the occupation army’s kidnapping of the bodies of the martyrs and theft of their organs.”

The mutilated bodies were buried in a mass grave in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Hamas condemns Israeli “barbarism.”

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the bodies released by the Zionist enemy were “in a decomposed state and difficult to identify.”

She said in a statement: What the enemy did can only be described as a war crime, a heinous crime, and a blatant violation of the sanctity and dignity of the dead.

He added: “Their barbarism and moral decline are confirmed in their aggression against our people, their assault on the bodies of our righteous martyrs, and the exhumation of their graves.”

Last month, a Geneva-based human rights group raised concerns about the theft of organs from Palestinian bodies.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory said that it documented that Israeli forces confiscated dozens of bodies from Al-Shifa Hospital and Indonesian hospitals in northern Gaza, along with others in the south.

It cited statements by medical specialists in Gaza, who found that vital organs, such as the liver, kidneys, heart, cochlea, and corneas, were missing in the bodies released by Israel.

The medical staff also said that Israel exhumed and confiscated the bodies from a mass grave in the courtyard of Al-Shifa Hospital.

Israel launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip on October 7 after Hamas carried out a historic operation against the occupying entity in response to its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

Since the start of the aggression, the Tel Aviv regime has killed at least 20,915 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and wounded 54,918 others.

Thousands more are missing and presumed dead under the rubble in the Gaza Strip, which is under a “total siege” by Israel.
