(ETX Daily Up) – Do people in the UK eat meat like they do in France? Who do Germans or Italians spend most of their time in the kitchen with? To answer all of these questions, Nielsen IQ conducted a survey of more than 37,000 people.
The study was conducted in Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the United Kingdom. Spain (87%) is followed by the rest of the world, followed by the United Kingdom and France.
Reasons for respondents to take care of their diet vary by country. If 30% of Spaniards explain that they want to be healthy above all else, the French, for example, highlight their preference as 37% want to stamp out this argument.
Beyond health concerns, the environment plays an important role in eating habits. This is especially the case in Germany, where 30% of respondents explain Reduce their meat consumption To reduce the carbon footprint on their plate. 20% say they do the same, the French come after it.
The time allowed for food preparation is not the same depending on the country. For example, Spaniards and Italians who spend more time in front of the stove, while Germans, English and French prefer speed (27%, 22% and 20%, respectively).
