The album’s title was partly inspired by Ice’s birthday of January 1, 2000, and her love of the 2000s aesthetic that has come back into fashion in recent years. The Y2K World Tour in support of the album continues through next month and ends in Miami on August 31. With her rapid rise to stardom, Ice Spice has had to deal with her fair share of negativity, but she’s brushing it all off with the same confidence she first showed on “Munch.”
“When people ask me, ‘Oh, how do you deal with the hate?’ I don’t care, because I won, bro.
