I like to think of myself as a gift-giving expert. In fact, if there was a karate-style system for recognizing gift-giving skills, I’d be a black belt.
So, when I was tasked with finding the best tech gifts for my family members as part of a new series on our YouTube channel called The Haul, I thought there would be no effort. But there was a problem: I had to stick to a budget of $200. Not $200 each, $200 total.
With holiday shipping dates quickly approaching, I turned to Amazon. I needed gifts for my mom, dad, sister, and nephew, and I knew I could find everything I needed in one destination, all of which would arrive over time. Plus, our guide to last-minute Amazon Christmas gifts gave me a starting point to make great choices.
Splitting the pot between the four recipients resulted in me getting about $50 each, though I also gave myself a little wiggle room on taxes and the like. You can see the process I went through in the video below.
Now, I know it’s a bit difficult to open all the gifts I bought for my family members. But hey, I was careful not to spoil the packaging, and they all know that what I do for a living requires me to test tools. It was important to know that I made the right choices in what I purchased, after all.
You’ll have to watch the full video to see how well the products fare, but if you’re here and want to get inspired by the affordable gifts I’ve chosen, I’ve listed them here with the latest sales prices. This way, you can save while still having the best gifts to hide under the tree.
