The condition of Hungarian striker Barnabas Varga, who suffered a serious injury in the second half of Sunday’s match Euro 2024 The Hungarian Football Association announced on X, previously Twitter, that the group match between Scotland and Hungary in Stuttgart is stable.
“Barnabas Varga suffered several facial fractures and a concussion during the match. He will likely undergo surgery,” the federation said, adding that the player will spend the night in the hospital and that the entire team is cheering him on.
