Halle Berry Drops Out of Ryan Murphy’s Hulu Legal Drama ‘All’s Fair’

Halle Berry Drops Out of Ryan Murphy’s Hulu Legal Drama ‘All’s Fair’

Halle Berry is no longer starring in and producing the upcoming Hulu legal drama series “All’s Fair.” diverse I have learned exclusively from sources.

News of her exit comes just a week after it was announced that Perry would be joining the series alongside Glenn Close and Kim Kardashian in what was supposed to be one of the only regular TV roles of the Oscar and Emmy winner’s career. According to a person familiar with the situation, Perry dropped out of the show due to a scheduling conflict.

All’s Fair, directed by Ryan Murphy, will focus on an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. Exact details of Perry’s character have been kept under wraps.

Representatives for Perry, Hulu and 20th Television declined to comment.

Perry’s upcoming releases include Netflix’s “The Union” with Mark Wahlberg and Lionsgate’s horror film “Never Let Go.” The former is set to hit theaters on August 16, while the latter is set to hit theaters on September 27.

Murphy serves as writer, director and executive producer on “All’s Fair,” the first series announced under his new overall deal with Disney following his Netflix deal. Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Bakken, Jamie Pacino, Laura Greene and Richard Levine also serve as writers and executive producers. Kardashian and Klaus serve as executive producers alongside Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun and Scott Robertson. Klaus will produce under her Trillium Productions banner. 20th Television will produce in association with Ryan Murphy Television.

Shortly after the casting story broke, it was reported last week that “Everything in Its Place” was one of five shows set to receive a share of $58 million in tax credits from the California Film Commission. The series is expected to film for 97 days in California, including 10 days outside the Los Angeles area.
