Football Nice – OGCN: An English coach missing Ticard

Didier Tigard’s spell on the bench at OGC Nice will end at the end of the season. The Aiglons scoured many names and searched for the most distinguished technician. Their new target is Graham Potter, who has the advantage of being free since his move from Chelsea.

This 2022-2023 season seems to be a setback for OGC Nice. The Riviera club qualified for the European Cup last season by finishing 5th. The Englishman, who was sacked by Chelsea last April, will entertain Inos and Jim Radcliffe. The Aiglons owner wants to install a British or at least an English speaker on the Nicois bench.

Potter shares the excitement. The coach is looking for a revival after a short and disappointing spell at Chelsea. The winds of the Côte d’Azur did not displease him and he also plans to meet with the leaders of the Côte d’Azur in the coming days. After all, just like at Brighton, where he shone in the past, Nice will offer him limited pressure and a project less experienced than the Blues side. His good work at Brighton from 2019 to 2022 and especially the very pleasant performance his teams have given will give good supporters hope.
