Sitting down and starting advice in fantasy football should always be relative and depend on the league. Note that some players are targeted for DFS. Good luck with your Week 12 lineup!
Starting: Rashid Shahid, Drake London
AT Perry may eventually become the primary beneficiary of Michael Thomas managing investor relations, but Shahid will see an expanded role as well. The Falcons are a pass defense, allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to running backs but the third-most over the past month. Shahid is a sleeper this week, while Chris Olave’s fantasy value takes a hit with Jameis Winston Return to the bench.
London should be healthy coming off the bye, and will benefit from The absence of Marshon Lattimore. London He sees the target rate jumping to 28.6%. He’s a top-20 fantasy points per route passer against a man, a coverage the Saints use at a rate of the top five. Desmond Ryder is also playing better at home, so London is a solid WR3 starter this week.
Starting: Jaylen Warren, Joe Mixon
Warren is set to experience some decline after falling back to fourth place over the past two weeks while his total touches were below 30. In timeshare. But he also He leads the league in multiple categories And can benefit From Pittsburgh New offensive coordinator. The Bengals rank 30th in run defense DVOA And Jake Browning will start at QB, so Warren could easily finish as a top-10 RB for the third straight week.
With Browning starting at quarterbackT Higgins is still injured and Emerging Joey Porter Jr. trails Ja’Marr Chase, and Mixon expects to get all the work he can handle on Sunday. His situation (and current skills) limits Mixon’s imagination, but the size should be there against a mid-range defense.
Starting: Christian Kirk, CJ Stroud
Last week was a great matchup for Calvin Ridley, but Sunday should favor Kirk even more. Houston has a pair of formidable outside corners in Derek Stingley Jr. and Steven Nelson, who have helped limit perimeter receivers to the 10th-fewest fantasy points this season. However, the Texans have generated the fourth-most fantasy points in the slot, with Kirk running 73% of his routes this year. Houston also defends the run well, so Kirk (and Evan Engram) should be busy on Sunday.
Stroud has faltered a bit while committing six turnovers over the last two games, but he also has a 9.1 YPA over that span and is in a major rebound spot on Sunday. The Jaguars have allowed just 61.9 yards per game to running backs (third-fewest) but the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Stroud has 9.3 YPA with 13 TDs in five home games and is one of the top five QBs on the border this week.
Starting: Cade Otton, Josh Downs
Otton has six targets in the red zone over the past three weeks and has the Colts defense giving up the third-most targets (8.5) to tight ends this season. In a fast-paced indoor encounter, Otton is sleeping soundly this week – and Rashad White should be considered a top-five right back.
Downs is a bit of a risk after running just 12 routes during his last game while playing with a knee injury dating back to the OTAs. But he returned to practice this week (and does not appear on the injury report) after the Colts’ bye and Downs is healthy It could be something special. Tampa Bay has become an extreme pass-suppression defense that completely stops the run but is dealing with multiple injuries in the secondary and allowing the most fantasy points to the slot (with Downs running 82% of his routes).
Starting: Patriots D/ST, Giants D/ST
Tommy DeVito looks like an upgrade over the injured Daniel Jones, but he also has a whopping 20 sacks over the last 10 quarters (on just 73 pass attempts). The Giants have a bad offensive line and the lowest implied point total on the team this week. Bill Belichick will receive fantasy points for scoring D/ST in New England.
Mac Jones will likely still be the starter, but he enters on a short leash and With an injured left tackle. The Giants’ offense hides a solid defense with a top-10 line, so they should be under pressure on Sunday. New York is off to a strong start for D/ST in a matchup with the lowest total of the week.
Sitting: Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders
Starting: Derrick Henry
The Giants are struggling but are a perfect 3-0 at Tennessee this season and enter with a matchup this week The largest mismatch is DL>OL. Hubbard and Sanders returned to a 50/50 split last week, and the Giants have the fourth-ranked defense in the DVOA. Hubbard and Sanders are both bench candidates while sharing the backfield in a Carolina offense that averages the fourth-fewest points per game.
Henry continues Huge divisions through wins and losses This season, he has scored 48% more fantasy points during wins. The Titans are 3.5-point favorites this week and have won every real home game this season. The Panthers allow the second-most fantasy points to linebackers, including Highest drop-to-position rate. The big dog is Top five RBs this week.
Starting: Kyren Williams, Trey McBride
Williams returned to full training this week and You can immediately get the full workload Sunday (Darryl Henderson has been demoted back to the practice squad). Williams was him No. 4 Fantasy returns before injury And it gets Arizona’s defense allowing the third-most fantasy points to running backs. With Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp at loggerheads, Williams should be busy and treated as one of the top 10 players on the team this week.
McBride’s stats were a bit disappointing last week, however His role remains elite. He leads Arizona in goals since Kyler Murray’s return, while Marquise Brown Imagination production declined. The Rams are strong against the run and outside receivers but have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to tight ends this season. McBride is a top-five TE this week, while Greg Dortch is a deep sleeper.
Seating: Amari Cooper, Russell Wilson
Cooper will play on the road and catch passes from Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who will have a 3.7 YPA with a 0:4 TD:INT ratio this season. DTR is also locked David Njoku, while shadow corner Patrick Surtain will be locked in on Cooper throughout Sunday’s game. Cooper belongs on the fantasy bench this week.
Wilson has bounced back this season while limiting turnovers and running hot with touchdown passes, but he also has easily the lowest YPA (7.0) of his career and has yet to record a score. Mr. Unlimited had become Mr. Checkdown And it happens Unfavorable encounter this week Against a Browns defense that allows an NFL-low 166.5 passing yards per game and the fewest fantasy points by any quarterback. Wilson sits out a game with 36 total points.
Starters: Rashi Rice, Jacoby Myers
Rice didn’t see an expanded role coming out of Kansas City’s bye as hoped, but he remains the team’s top option at WR. The rookie sees his target rate jump to 25.0% and has the third-most fantasy points per route run versus zone, which is coverage The Raiders are using it at a top 10 rate. Rice is off to a strong start this week.
Davante Adams has hit every goal for Las Vegas since Aidan O’Connell took over, but Myers is asleep this week. Adams will be shadowed by shutdown cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, who ranks in the top 10 in fantasy points per run allowed. Meanwhile, Myers will see plenty of coverage from Jaylen Watson, who has the third-most fantasy points per pass rusher. The Raiders are big underdogs, so Myers will be needed.
Starting: Gabe Davis, DeAndre Swift
Davis is taking a huge leap of faith after registering just two eggs and eight goals over his last three matches. But he has four top-20 finishes (and two top-10 finishes) through the first eight games and should be in action on Sunday. The Bills will be pass-heavy in a fast-paced game versus an Eagles team that has the team’s highest implied total this week. Philadelphia also features a pass defense that stops the run, but has allowed the most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. The Eagles’ opponents have the second-highest passer rating compared to expectations, so Gabe Dave is a sleeper this week.
Swift became Philadelphia’s workhorse and had a home run against the Bills’ defense allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to a running back when the schedule was adjusted. Buffalo also has the fourth-most targets and third-most yards receiving for RBs this season. Swift is a top 12 fantasy running back this week.
Starting: Isaiah most likely, Justin Herbert
It probably was Some big outings With Mark Andrews out last year, he averaged 68.0 receiving yards with two touchdowns through three games. However, he has scored just one goal and zero goals in two (mostly complete) games without Andrews this season in a new attack, so he is not without risk. However, he will benefit from a full week of practice as Baltimore’s rookie, and he may be needed more with Zay Flowers not practicing Thursday and Odell Beckham Jr. dealing with a shoulder injury. The Chargers are allowing their third-highest fantasy pick to go to tight ends, so he’ll likely be a top-12 option at the position this week.
Keaton Mitchell is also a sneak start in this game after being a disappointment in prime time last week.
Herbert’s expectations will have to be lowered against a Ravens defense that produces the second-fewest fantasy points for quarterbacks, so this depends on your subs, but he could still be a top-12 quarterback in this matchup. Austin Ekeler shouldn’t have much success against Baltimore, and Los Angeles has a healthy implied team point total on par with the Bills this week.
Starting: DJ Moore, Jordan Addison
Moore has caught all six of his touchdowns this season and has been No. 1 fantasy WR over his last three games With Justin Fields. Khalil Herbert must take over for Chicago with Donta Foreman injured, but Minnesota is one of the strongest defenses against the run. The Vikings have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to wide receivers, so treat Moore as a top-10 WR this week.
Addison has been quiet since Kirk Cousins went down, but the rookie remains Minnesota’s most talented prospect with Justin Jefferson sidelined. Jefferson is scheduled to participate in Monday’s game with the Vikings’ upcoming bye, and Josh Dobbs is a capable passer. The Bears are a pass defense that allows just 64.1 rushing yards per game to running backs but the seventh-most fantasy points to Addison’s starting lineup this season. He has a much better matchup than Alexander Mattison and Ty Chandler on Monday night.
