3 studentse Sainte-Anne – European wing of the College of Sainte-Joachim, near Evron Dinan (Côtes-d’Armor)A tourist guide “Welcome to Evron” has been created in English.
Its purpose is to provide a guide in Shakespeare’s language to the many foreign visitors the city welcomes each year. Using the college’s digital tools and the Canva application, students collaborated and produced the guide.
English teacher Karin Lower explains. Also, there is an opportunity to discover the local heritage and share together the various structures and receptions offered by the municipality.

The project has brought a lot of diversity and learning and the students are happy with the result and hope that their guide will be useful for future tourists.
It consists of six parts, “What can you visit? “How can you travel?” “.
On Friday, December 9, the students and their teacher were welcomed at the town hall and thanked by Mayor Patrice Gautier and Tourism Officer Jacqueline Blanchot.
It is always satisfactory when school programs rely on and manage local content. The twenty or so primary and secondary school teachers in Évran have a municipal committee to develop these collaborations. The next one will be done with elementary schools, in January, through activities when the city plants trees and shrubs.
Mayer explained.
The guide will be placed online on the website www.evran.bzh, traders will be able to print it for distribution to their customers. It will be distributed free of charge, in paper version, at the town hall for English-speaking tourists.
