First European final for Lyon

LOU reached their first ever European final by defeating Wasps in the semi-finals of the EPCR Challenge Cup (20-18) at the Matmut Stadium in Gerland. Leo Perdeau scored one of the tries of the 2021/2022 EPCR Challenge Cup campaign for a total of 15 points. Substitute Yannis Sarkochet also crossed the line for Rhone. Saracens went to Toulon in-goal through Ben Earl while Owen Farrell kicked 11 points.
