Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott threw 22 of 32 for 331 yards and four touchdowns and was later seen on the sideline eating a turkey leg, along with offensive lineman Zach Martin, with six minutes left in the game.

NFL history was also made in the game when Cowboys defensive back DaRon Bland intercepted Commanders’ quarterback Sam Howell on the far sideline with 4:49 left to play, taking the ball for his fifth “catch-six” — when a defensive player intercepts the ball. The ball and returning it for a touchdown – this year to set the NFL’s single-season record with six weeks remaining in the season.

“We have a lot of games to play as well, so who knows where he will extend this record?” Prescott said, according to ESPN.

“Like I said the first time you asked me about the guy – a great player: he prepares, does everything the right way.

“I can’t say I’m surprised he got the ball, but it’s amazing to watch him get those touches and be hungry to get into the end zone. Proud of him.”

“It’s amazing, especially on this day,” Bland added. Another thing to be thankful for.”
