Doja Cat announced that their upcoming fourth studio album will consist entirely of rap in several tweets shared on Saturday.

The 27-year-old rapper shared a photo of three tracks in the works, titled Wet Vagina, Balut, and Agora Hills, and interacted with her many fans who are looking forward to getting more information about her upcoming project.

The artist, who recently shared a photo of her natural skin texture, will release her latest album, Planet Her, in 2021.

One of Doja Cat’s tweets simply read “No More Pop,” prompting her fans to inquire about the content of her third record.

The Say So singer later confirmed that the upcoming album will be “rap only” in another tweet.

The Grammy Award-winning artist then expressed that she felt as though she had transcended the pop genre.

In another tweet, she wrote, “Pop just doesn’t excite me anymore. I just don’t want to do that.

Doja Cat also talked about her past forays into rapping and wrote that she was trying to make strides as an artist.

I also agree with everyone who has said that the majority of my rap verses are mean and clichéd. I know they are. I wasn’t trying to prove anything I just enjoy doing in the music industry, but I’m sick of hearing people say I can’t,” she wrote.

The singer’s debut album, titled Amala, was released to the public in March of 2018.

The performer went on to release Hot Pink in 2019, and the record became a huge hit.

The album contained the single Say So, and the project as a whole went on to peak at No. 9 on the US Billboard 200 chart.

Doja Cat’s third record, Planet Her, debuted in June of 2021 to critical and commercial success.

The performer opened up about her rapping skills during an interview with deerwhere she expressed that she had always considered herself a rapper.

“I did singing from the start,” she said, “and I couldn’t even sing well at first — it got so much better.”

She said, “I use my voice as a tool to create these worlds, and it’s okay if people think I can’t rap.”
