He went on to say that Ye had violated “the show’s business rules” which are “the rules of perception”.

“If they’re black, it’s a mob. If they’re Italian, they’re a mob,” Chappelle said. “But if they’re Jewish, it’s a coincidence and you should never talk about it.”

Chappelle went on to talk about the abundance of Jewish people in Hollywood.

“But it doesn’t mean anything,” he said. “There are a lot of black people in Ferguson, Missouri. Not that they run the place.”

Chappelle said he could see “if you’ve got some kind of problem, you might go to Hollywood and start tying some kind of lines and maybe espouse the delusion that Jews run show business.”

He said, “It’s not crazy to think.” “But it’s crazy to say that out loud.”
