A week ago, the Dallas Cowboys looked like the team of destiny in the NFC. But the Buffalo Bills humiliated them with a 31-10 win in Week 15.
Things don't get much easier in Week 16. Dallas will face another tough AFC East opponent in the Miami Dolphins. Miami didn't miss a beat without Tyreek Hill in Week 15, dropping a 30-point win over the New York Jets in the shutout. Hill was listed as questionable all week with an ankle injury, but is officially active for the game.
Both teams have a lot to play for in Week 16. Dallas is still in contention for the NFC East and has the same record as the Philadelphia Eagles (10-4). The Dolphins hold the No. 2 seed in the AFC, but could still pass the Baltimore Ravens for the top seed and the wild-card round.
In other afternoon games of the week, the Chicago Bears will host the Arizona Cardinals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bears have won three of their last five games, despite falling behind by three points last weekend to the Cleveland Browns. The Cardinals lost by 16 points last week to the San Francisco 49ers while Kyler Murray threw a pair of interceptions. This loss dropped them to just 3-11 on the season. The Jaguars have lost three straight games, although they remain in contention in the AFC South. The Bucs, on the other hand, have won three straight.
