Country music star Hardy is in the hospital due to severe panic attacks – tour dates have been cancelled

Country music star Hardy has announced the cancellation of three of his concerts in October, due to the “severe anxiety” he has suffered since a 2022 bus accident.

Last year, the 33-year-old “Truck Bed” singer-songwriter (real name Michael Wilson Hardy) and three others were returning from a show in Bristol, Tennessee, when their tour bus flipped over on Interstate I-40 near Nashville. .

On Tuesday (October 3), days after the one-year anniversary of the accident, Hardy revealed that he was suffering from severe panic attacks “which took me to the hospital.”

“I need to be honest with everyone for a second. I’ve been dealing with some serious anxiety since the bus accident last year, and for the past two weeks, the accident has taken over my life.

“It caused me several panic attacks that landed me in the hospital. I need a moment to focus on me and improve myself for my wife, my family and you, the fans,” he said.

“Unfortunately, I will need to cancel my Mockingbird & The Crow Fall Tour shows on October 5th and 7th,” Hardy added. “The Georgia Rodeo will be moved to April 12, 2024.”

He pointed out that refunds for canceled shows will be available from the point of purchase, while tickets for the postponed show will remain valid for the new date.

“My plan is to come back and focus on October 12. Thank you for your understanding, see you soon,” Hardy concluded.
