More details have emerged about the death rocky Star Carl Weathers dies at the age of 76.
Death Certificate – Obtained by Explosion But it has not been confirmed by the actor's family – “atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease” is listed as the official cause of death. According to the document, Withers died at his home in Venice, California, on February 2 at 12:18 a.m.
The death was listed as “natural,” with the document stating that Withers had suffered from heart disease for years.
The certificate describes the actor as having spent 51 years in the entertainment industry.
Weathers starred as Apollo Creed in the first four rocky Films and appeared in predator, The Mandalorian, Happy Gilmore, Action Jackson, Arrested Development And dozens of other movies and TV shows.
In a statement at the time of his death, Withers' family said that he “died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, February 1, 2024.”
“Karl was an extraordinary human being who lived an extraordinary life,” the statement continued. “Through his contributions to film, television, the arts and sports, he left an indelible mark that was recognized around the world and across generations. He was a brother, father, grandfather, partner and friend.”
