Today is Black Friday and everyone knows the old adage – you get what you pay for. This is especially true for anything that comes with glass, such as binoculars. We haven’t uploaded our full review yet, but during our time with them, we thought they had great resolution and exceptional light transmission. It has the most eye relief we’ve ever seen – 19mm, so it’ll be perfect if you wear glasses, although we did notice the lack of a tripod adapter, which seems like an odd omission. They provide a good view of nearby stars and planets, but their wide-ranging views mean you won’t see much more than that.
Given their price and optical prowess, we wouldn’t recommend them as the best binoculars for kids, but we think they would rank very highly in our best binoculars buying guide.
There is nothing out of the ordinary regarding toppings in this Black Friday Deal Leica 10×42 Noctivid, just the usual suspects – 2 x objective lens hoods, a one-piece lens hood, neck strap, and carrying case. However, they do come with a lifetime warranty from Leica, (which we have to think so for the price!) for added peace of mind should anything happen to them.
Not only is it beautiful, but it’s also incredibly practical. We thought they produced bright, clear views with excellent color reproduction, even on overcast days. They’re not the lightest binoculars we’ve ever carried (30.4 ounces (862 grams), but they don’t feel too heavy and they’re slim enough to fit into a large jacket pocket. They’re one of the very few binoculars we’ve tested where we saw no chromatic aberration (color fringing) or coma Not at all around high contrast objects.

consensus: These two pairs are probably our favorite binoculars ever. They have fantastic sharpness and exceptional light transmission, not to mention they are absolutely stunning. But the price may be out of reach for beginners.
Buy if: Money is no object and you want the best of the best.
Do not buy if: You have a limited budget, or want to display objects in deep space.

If you are on a budget, Celestron Trail Seeker 8×42 It is a great multi-use device that is lightweight enough to travel with. For dedicated astronomers, Celestron Skymaster 25×100 It has high magnification for amazingly detailed views of the night sky.
