Faithful to its teaching line: “Knowing how to be, knowing how to live, knowing how to learn”, Notre-Dame-des-Noës School in Phoenix is introducing English teaching as one of its priorities this year. “These priorities, reading, problem solving, oral expression, knowledge of the environment and now learning English should allow the child to be autonomous and responsible as soon as possible”, explains director Estelle Habask.
136 students were divided into six classes
The beginning of the school year, all together, without masks, divided into six classes with a fixed number of 136 students, including two in kindergarten, promises to be beneficial. The teaching team, Constant, welcomes three speakers in English this year: Aurore, Caroline and Rebecca. From September 6 to June 16, all classes from Junior Division to CM2 will benefit from this learning.
Cabin and Fresco
Finally, two projects will liven up the year: the construction of a cottage in the yard (unveiled by last year’s class representatives) and the creation of a painting by all school students on the wall outside the canteen.
