It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about Assassin’s Creed VR, but the first leaks look exactly as people had hoped. The game is said to be called Assassin’s Creed Nexus and will literally allow players to fill in the shoes of famous assassins from the series’ past including Ezio Auditore, Kassandra, Connor, Haytham and more, according to the leak.
Tom Henderson from flagrant He says he’s seen the game himself and been given a description of what it’s like to wear a VR headset and play everyone’s favorite killers in the long-running Ubisoft franchise. Ubisoft has published job openings for Assassin’s Creed VR Back in January Due to his absence from Meta Quest gaming show Earlier this week, the title likely wouldn’t be released until sometime in 2023 for Oculus Quest 2 And possibly another VR headset.
Since this is an Assassin’s Creed game, the gameplay will consist of running as stealthily as possible, climbing to your heart’s content, and coming up with unique ways to complete each mission. Players will be able to extend the hidden blades of their killer by pressing a button and flicking their wrist. Appropriate stealth kills will lead to instant elimination, while failed attempts will require players to engage in more complex combat scenarios including sword fights.
Henderson says the game contains 16 missions, and players are said to be able to explore the world, searching for treasures, closed doors, and other hidden areas to find loot and other rewards. You’ll even be able to choose the locks, which are supposed to deliver the power of VR interaction. That’s it, of course, plus the main objectives that will certainly be full of clever assassinations, interesting characters and intriguing plot points across multiple historical places.
Players will navigate either via console joysticks or standard teleportation, whichever is more comfortable for the player. With stealth being such a big part of the franchise, the developers made sure that teleportation made sense from the stealth model. Teleport is very close to the enemy and they will definitely hear you. Fortunately, if you make a mistake, you will be able to run and hide, or even make a leap of faith from buildings in the infamous hay carts. All in all, it looks like Shu-In to one of the Best Quest 2 Games Start.
