Accuweather recently launched a new update to its mobile app across Android and iOS that revamps the forecast by showing a new graph that provides easier access to information, and there is now support for icons on Android 13.
It is now being offered across Play StoreAccuweather’s latest update on Android brings two notable new features. For example, the app now supports a themed icon on Android 13. The option available on Pixel and Samsung Galaxy devices allows the app’s home screen icon to be changed to match the system accent colors drawn from the background.

Moreover, and more importantly, the Accuweather app has also significantly revamped its forecast page. The page now shows a graph view by default, showing temperature changes throughout the day in a horizontally scrollable list showing the current, high, and low temperatures at the bottom of the screen.
Additional tabs at the top of the page allow users to see the same hourly breakdown of precipitation, air quality, humidity, UV index, wind, dew point, cloud cover, and visibility. The previous list view is still available with a toggle switch at the top of the page, but there is no default list view option.
Finally, the update also introduced a new “Watch Live” tab in the bottom bar, which shows live weather videos from Accuweather as well as other brief videos about weather events. Both of these changes are live on both Android and iOS devices.
