A Ukrainian newspaper on Friday compared an interview Russian President Vladimir Putin gave with critic Tucker Carlson to an interview Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave with Fox News anchor Bret Baier this week.
“Two Different Worlds” A Social media sharing From the newspaper Kyiv Post reads.
The post was accompanied by two photos: one showing Carlson interviewing Putin in Moscow and the other showing Baer sitting with Zelensky from the front lines of the ongoing war between the two countries.
Putin earlier this month used his conversation with Carlson to promote his war efforts and criticize the United States over its involvement in the conflict.
During his interview with Baer – his first from the front lines – Zelensky described Putin's meeting with Carlson as “two hours of nonsense.”
Fox took Carlson's show off the air last April, and the critic has since launched a new show on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. The conservative pundit was widely ridiculed this week for his praise of Russia's infrastructure and economy during his recent trip to Moscow.
