A short story in English produced by L’Envol des chrysalides association

Created twelve years ago, L’Envol des chrysalides (EDC37) offers English, French and maths courses in and around Descartes, with income in Madagascar (in Burkina Faso, a country previously untraveled by regime change).

His 12th^e In the version, a theme linked to the English group Descartes’ artists’ salon, the play was rejected by the short story for the Descartes group and the comic strip for the Tange Saint Romain group. Message title, Chiaroscuro (Clairobscure), evokes the play of light and shadow that exists in each of us. His paintings were produced by the Society’s Painting Committee.

To implement it, each participant brought 2 or 3 photographs (places, postcards, etc.), which were grouped, shared and selected to form the structure of a story. The frame is cut so that each participant is responsible for producing a piece. Later, joint work was able to create a link between the parties.

All different motivations

The resulting book, made for educational purposes in English and bound by each participant, is a souvenir for all. It is also donated to school libraries or other institutions.

English responds to different motivations depending on the participants: traveling to English-speaking countries, resuming the language after a long time away, needing to access a new job, following TV programs or understanding songs in English, the desire to discover a new language… Whatever the motivation of each person, from the surrounding cities Everyone appreciates the character of the meeting and the animation with the members of the visiting team.
