The problem is that the image has been digitally altered to add part of a distinctive back tattoo belonging to Kevin Michael Brophy, who now says he was traumatized – again, six years ago – by people who had never met him and who don’t know who had seen the tattoo on a man who was mimicking Have a Cardi B sandwich for lunch.
Their lives were disrupted, Capello told the jury as Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, watched from the defense table. He said the photo upset Brophy and his wife, Lindsay Michele Brophy, who he said initially questioned her husband if he was in the cover photo. The couple has two small children.
Brody said he once considered his back tattoo showing a tiger fighting a snake to be “Michelangelo’s piece” which has since become “crude and disgusting”.
We’re wondering this whole thing about the wife questioning Profi, not because he likely isn’t Cardi B, but simply because of this: He’s white and the model with her tattoo is black.
Brophy is asking for $5 million in the case.
